John Greene's Bethlehem Car Works produces the most extensive line of passenger car parts, specialty trucks and specific prototype passenger equipment available. Northeastern, Southeastern, B&O and PRR are specialties though other specific kits are found in this often overlooked line. Kits use traditional construction methods with brass or styrene sides for most kits (some are laser cut wood). Parts are photoetched, molded styrene or molded soft metal. Bethlehem's trucks are metal.

John has continued adding new kits, parts and trucks which are made in the USA. These undecorated kits require moderate experience. They are often overlooked as "high profile" advertising by others promotes their imported "one size fits all" prototypes.. .

Their prototypically accurate passenger cars are craftsman kits in a variety of construction styles. You'll find some surprises in our Bethlehem catalog. Most model builders don't know there is such an EXTENSIVE LINE of HO metal passenger, caboose and specialty trucks. And an extensive array of Prototype Specific passenger and headend car kits too.. (Not to mentions �50s semi trailers).

The MRRW website has MORE SPECIFIC PASSENGER and HEADEND CARS listed than ANYONE ELSE. And these fine Bethlehem products (made in Souderton, PA) are much of the reason. Plastic or brass sides as noted, roofs are wood or plastic. Wood roofs have shaped plastic end caps. Only moderate modeling hand tools and experience are needed and you'll have cars unlike anything mass produced on around the world.

Undecorated BCW kits are less trucks and couplers. We're ready to promptly fill your order from the warehouse, so drool on.
