Somehow, some folks have succeeded in spreading the myth Central Valley's SUPER DETAILED, CURVABLE #6 and #8 (code 70 or 83) turnout (switch) kits are not yet available. (Maybe they want to sell their own imports?) Well they ARE IN STOCK at MRRW and creating excitement. See our illustration and you'll know why. AND THE NEW #3, #5 and #9 kits are IN TRANSIT NOW -- they'll be just as easily constructed. No filing of your stock rails, soldering etc. Just build and run! CV has also announced availability of their arch roof for 40' cars

ABOUT CENTRAL VALLEY

Under the hand of George Hook, CV supplied a leading quality line of distinctive period freight car kits during the era of wood kits. Modelers still seek the highly detailed sprung metal trucks that rode under freight and passenger cars on discriminating HO pikes of earlier decades. (Take heart, the Parkers, who now own CV have the tool making skill which could revive those trucks in time).

Today's Central Valley line features reasonably priced, high quality injection molded products for the quality minded modeler. The CV roadbed can yield a "hand laid" quality appearance with the effort of flex track-and their super detailed turnout kits bring that museum quality detailing to your switches as well.

Details like CV's bridges, ladders and fences bear close inspection for detail-they're unlike the toy-like offerings of others and quite reasonably priced too.

Their lone freight car, a 40' NP stock car, provides quality components for kit bashers and scratch builders

Step 1. Assemble Central Valley truss bridge per kit instructions.

Step 2. Install bridge at ELBOW HEIGHT near edge of layout in front of other interesting scenery. Ice fishermen or sunbathers would work well, depending on season being modeled.

Step 3. Invite neighbors in to view the fantastic scenery you've just built. They will add the prototypical finishing touches for you.
